I have worked in the recycling industry since 2001 and have become very familiar with the daily waste challenges that clients face. I am very hands on with all aspects of my company and never want to lose the personal connections I have grown to respect with those that put their trust in my team. What I enjoy most about my career is having a family business that creates local jobs and gives me the opportunity to serve people. Every time I have the opportunity to create an additional position, I am reassured that there is a growing need for the type of services that GreenSpace provides. I have to admit it feels pretty good to have clients tell me that they wouldn’t want to go back to the way it was before working with us.

I am very excited to be part of such a necessary company like GreenSpace Recycling. It feels great knowing that our services are contributing to a better future for my children, providing our clients financial savings, cleaning up neighborhoods and providing jobs for our local communities. I have always been one to look for earth friendly ideas and it is very gratifying to be taking such an active role in the "green movement". My dream is to one day help our local schools adopt effective and sustainable approaches to recycling so that future generations learn the values of recycling, reusing and reclaiming material that should not be lost in the landfills.

Amy Dishaw

Business Solutions Advisor
With the growth that the company was experiencing in 2014, the opportunity and need for additional administrative support had arrived. Amy was sought after due to her known ability and choice of creating a “wow” experience for her clients. After many positive encounters with her it was obvious that she would be a great addition to the team as our Business Solutions Advisor. Since joining the team in August of 2014 she has been a key support to the developing California region. “I have 28 years’ experience managing businesses and the people that make them successful including over 8 years of military supportive roles in AAFES, (Army & Air Force Exchange Service) and MWR (Morale Welfare and Recreation). For 13 years I excelled at finding solutions to everyday problems and helping people recover from the unexpected while working for the number one insurer in the U.S. I am thrilled to work in a vocation that truly makes a positive difference in the lives of those I am helping." I feel our company plays a vital roll in helping not only our environment but the people that inhabit it.

Austin Pierce

Bay Area Regional Manager - Bay Area CA
Austin’s working experiences with GreenSpace Recycling began in Bend Oregon in 2012 while he provided local coverage as a fill in employee. As time passed he became a trusted team member with expressed interest in developing his role into a more substantial title with added responsibilities. When planning for the expansion into the Bay Area of California during the summer of 2014, management clearly identified him as a vital role in market set up, training and quality control for the new acquisition. Now serving as the Bay Area Regional Manager, Austin greatly contributes to the backbone of our local success. “I am glad to be part of this amazing company and all that it stands for. My parents had a vision for growth and we are now embracing that potential. Not only is this company a tool for helping the environment but we also contribute to the communities that we serve. Adrian Chavez

Space Manager & Driver - Bay Area CA
Upon interviewing Adrian, it was obvious that he was a missing link to the workforce in the bay area. Now being the driver for all Bay Area locations, Adrian's fan base continues to increase and comments of appreciation are often noted. Maintenance staff express their appreciation of his hard work, stating that their workload has decreased by his diligence and that their waste areas have never been cleaner. Adrian's ability to remember the smallest of route details and tasks shines positively on him. Clients comment that he “always makes time to say a kind word and wears a smile”. His long term goals are to make GreenSpace Recycling his committed profession in upper management. “Born and raised in San Jose California, I am big sports fan of The San Jose Sharks, San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors and Miami Dolphins. Prior to my time with GreenSpace I was attending school to become a medical assistant at I.B.T. During my education I gained interests in other professions and that is when I applied for a position with this company. Serving is what I do best whether it be in a medical profession or environmental.

Martin Romero

Operational Team Leader - Tri-Cities WA
Martin has worked for GreenSpace since April 2012. His reliability, promptness and ability to remember his customers by first name, contributes to the focus on customer service that GreenSpace has promised to those we serve. Acting as the Operational Team Lead in the Tri-Cities, Martin is responsible for the training of new hires, quality control and overall operations of the Tri-Cities area. "I like making people happy and putting a smile on someones face. People greet me when I arrive at their garbage enclosure area and tell me that they are glad that someone is doing what I do. That feels good!"

Space Manager & Driver - Tri-Cities WA
Since joining the GreenSpace team in November 2014, Lopez has received recognition for his ability to quickly adapt and perform with extreme efficiency. Lopez has a unique sense of the “whole picture” and is able to recognize the most effective and efficient way to complete the task at hand. His friendly and proficient approach has clients frequently expressing their appreciation for a job well done. Lopez’ willingness to offer a helping hand with a smile compliments the mission of our company to treat all as family. “Working for GreenSpace Recycling has been a good opportunity for me. I recently relocated from New York after working as a chef in an Italian restaurant which I loved. I now have a new passion in life after being offered a job with GreenSpace.
